Individual
items are removed from the cast tree by cutting the sprue (the
link that attaches the item to the tree). The metal is then
smoothed with files and sanded.
At ASKR Jewelry both microscopes and hand-held, motor based
tools are used to ensure finer quality is produced by giving
individual attention to each item. The magnification we use
is 40X in our microscopic process, a strength rarely used by
most jewelers.
We carefully inspect all jewelry at this point to ensure both
ASKR Jewelry and International Quality Standards are met. |
